From Anna and Wilmer Murray’s Journal

Sunday, May 11, 1980 Mother’s Day-
We went to all meetings. After Sacrament meeting they gave all the mothers a violet. I ask for one for Beverly but later found her girls had one for her. I sent it home with Audrey. As we were just going home we stopped to ask Ruth to come to our house but Dallas caught up with her and ask her to his house. He also asked us. We accepted the invitation and rode up with her to Dallas house. We really enjoyed ourselves. He took us in his truck to see his bull, lambs, sheep and cows. The truck didn’t hesitate in any of the mud. It was an enjoyable day. Soon after we came home Darrell called. Then just as we were going to bed Marylyn and Jerry called. We were so thrilled to hear from them. Neil called too. So we heard from all. Dewey’s card came first, but he didn’t call. This ended a lovely Mothers day.
